The Affordable Connectivity Program has ended

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provided a monthly broadband discount to eligible households, ended on June 1, 2024 after funding ran out. It is not open for new applications and is not a current discount. The FCC has warned consumers about sites that continue to advertise ACP enrollment or collect personal information.

Lifeline is a separate program

The federal Lifeline program remains active and may help eligible low-income consumers pay for qualifying phone or broadband service. Eligibility and provider participation rules apply, and not every internet provider participates. Review current terms directly with USAC Lifeline before sharing personal information or selecting a plan.

Provider low-income plans

Some providers offer their own discounted plans for eligible households, students or residents in specific service areas. These are provider programs, not the former ACP benefit. Eligibility, speed, price and documentation requirements vary; ask the provider for the standard price, renewal terms and what happens if eligibility changes.

Access includes devices and skills

A connection alone does not guarantee meaningful access. Households may also need an affordable computer, digital skills, language access, technical support and a reliable place to connect. The Delaware Broadband Office describes affordability and digital participation as part of its statewide mission; community organizations and libraries may provide additional assistance.

Avoid outdated enrollment pages

Do not enter Social Security numbers, payment details or identity documents into a website that claims to enroll you in ACP. Confirm program status through the FCC or USAC. This site does not collect applications, verify eligibility or sell internet plans.
